Vulnerability Assessments
I am a senior penetration tester leading a team of highly skilled assessors that help protect State Farm by identifying vulnerabilities and acting like an attacker, to prevent a breach from being realized. I am responsible for prioritizing penetration tests based on risk, as well as for compliance reasons.
I also maintain a state of the art lab environment for testing exploits before they are ever brought into production. Technologies include ESXi, Windows server, Palo Alto, Linux servers, custom builds for password cracking, and more.
An important part of my role is purple teaming with defenders. I consistently develop rules and methods to detect the times that I was successful so future attacks will not have the same result. This includes working on platforms such as qradar, splunk, nxlog, syslog, audit logs, and more.
