In this position, I lead a team of Cybersecurity Engineers that directly support the US Air Force Command and Control (C2) Security Control Assessor (SCA) by conducting risk assessments on C2 systems and weapon systems using assessment methodologies as described by NIST standards. I provide technical and managerial guidance to cross-functional teams consisting of multiple contracting companies and organic personnel. I provide expert level oral and written communications to team members as well as senior leaders and Government officials. I developed a task management solution to ensure high visibility reporting is accurate and valuable not only to senior leaders but to the entire team.

When I first entered the Air Force, I was a Security Specialist, specializing in the protection of nuclear weapons, which I did for 6.5 years and spent time in Arkansas and Belgium. When I was eligible for a new job, I changed to computers and administration. I worked in an office managing people and tasks while stationed in Southern California. From there I moved to Massachusetts and worked as a test administrator where I traveled to New England area high schools and administered the ASVAB test. From there, on to Northern California as a Help Desk technician, moved up to manager, then moved up to manager of network operations. From there, moved to Kansas to support AFOSI.
