* Systems Architect for the Air Traffic Operations Lab (ATOL)
-- Architected and virtualized redundant network services including DDNS, DHCP, and Active Directory Domain Services on VMware ESXi.
-- Redesigned and doubled the available core network routing bandwidth using Cisco ASA 5525 hardware in routed firewall mode.
-- Implemented system-wide backups utilizing Veeam Backup and Replication and Veeam Endpoint Backup as well as network device configuration backups using RANCID.
-- Stood up Splunk forwarder server and created agent configuration for the easy monitoring of Windows and Linux system logs on all critical lab infrastructure.
-- Took DevOps technical lead in automating lab system prep instructions using Ansible resulting in a decrease in time to prep a machine from 3 hours to 10 minutes.
-- Resolved numerous high-profile IT equipment and configuration issues within a limited time frame preventing several situations in which return to the vendor for repair would have been necessary.
