• Directly accessed AlienVault, Carbon Black, Varonis, and Microsoft Azure to support the Information System team.
o Investigated flagged traffic to ensure the correct assessment of flag, Identity, and Access Management (IAM), monitored network traffic, constructed reports of most at-risk folders within the company database.
• Managed network alerts created by AlienVault to support the Information System team, with a primary focus on critical alerts that occurred weekly.
o AlienVault gathered information from across the network allowing review of EDR, Threat Intel, network activity, phishing, and other general security in one view.
o Critical alert that was managed and determined to be a false positive. Identified a spike of traffic at 8 am, as the office and health centers opened that pointed back to one server overseas. Initial assumptions of the attack wereC2 (command and control) attack. Upon future investigation and communications with MSP, it was determined that an update was pushed and not communicated to team.
• Created a 3-minute phishing training video to educate the employees of HHHN.
• Bolstered the IAM program by auditing 400 high-use sensitive data stores and ensuring RBAC configuration adhered to company policy impacting 100 employees and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
o Information was used by management to redesign IAM upon moving data servers off-prem.

I graduated from Syracuse University in May of 2022, earning a B.S. in Information Management and Technology with a concentration in Information Security. I am excited to start my career with Comcast as a CORE Cybersecurity Associate. This position will challenge me to learn and grow while also refining my current skills.
