Worlds
Cybersecurity Analyst
• Providing Cybersecurity and DevOps support for Worlds, an Industrial Metaverse startup company. Worlds creates customized solutions with 4D digital twinning, taking data from sensors and cameras and utilizing tools such as machine learning (ML), AI, Cloud and Edge computing to automate real world processes
• Securing Cloud infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and now Microsoft Azure
• Analyzing security vulnerabilities with tools like Snyk and Trivy and providing steps towards remediation
• Automating IT infrastructure using tools like Ansible and Azure Bicep

Worlds
Cybersecurity Intern
Control systems engineering focused on HVAC hardware at the Trane facility in Tyler, Texas.
• Deemed essential personnel, worked 6 months in person and 2 months remotely through the pandemic
• Programmed Arduino Microcontroller for a custom PCB used to test new prototype controls systems
• Self-taught Excel macros (Visual Basic for Applications) to automate the comparison of spreadsheets with 1000’s of lines of data, potentially saving future co-ops 100’s of hours
• Conducted hands-on electrical engineering for quality assurance (Q&A) and new product development (R&D) for HVAC controls hardware. Testing included measuring voltage, current, and signal analysis as well as flashed (programmed) microcontrollers for embedded testing

About
My current experience with Worlds gave me greater practical experience in the field of Cybersecurity. I have hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure with both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
Red Hat Academy offered a System Administration class for students interested in Cybersecurity at Texas A&M, for people looking to be Information Technology professionals. This taught me Linux concepts using the command line and how to manage Linux systems on a network remotely using SSH. There are also other Cybersecurity competitions that I participated in such as MITRE eCTF and National Cyber League (NCL).
Electronic Systems Engineering Technology at Texas A&M University is an ABET accredited program in the College of Engineering focused on hands-on/applied engineering. This program is similar to electrical engineering but with more hands-on practical labs to learn applications in real environments.
I enjoy programming and designing electronic systems including areas like embedded systems and digital design from planning out a PCB, setting up local area networks, or writing programs for all kinds of applications. My co-op experience with Trane Technologies in the Controls Hardware department allowed me to gain practical experience with different types of controls systems in HVAC. I am adept at using both hardware and software to test, create, or fix new or existing products.
Skills: Circuit design using Altium and Multisim, programming in C, C#, Java, SQL, ARM Assembly, and Python, programming microcontrollers, attention to detail, works well in teams and individually. Completed a yellow belt certificate (25 hours of training) in Lean Six Sigma to improve processes in engineering. Currently learning cloud computing with AWS and Azure.
