As a Principal Solutions Consultant I’m the expert for formulating and leading technical / functional support activities to clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. I focus on large or complex opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. I craft solutions from the Oracle Utilities applications (CCS - Customer Cloud Service / C2M – Customer to Meter) that meet our customers’ business issues and future plans. I help develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations that showcase the real value of the proposed solution. I was tapped to develop and implement the strategic and technical roadmap supporting the advancement of meter-to-cash technology. Through extensive business analysis, I defined process improvement initiatives and outlined performance metrics to measure success.
As a subject matter expert, I advised senior leaders on best practices and solved business problems. My areas of contribution included business process improvements, developing business cases, conducting market scans, financial assessment, cost-benefit analysis and participating in strategic task forces.
Collaborating closely with the IT team, I participated in the execution of large-scale technology enhancement projects. With a strong understanding of business needs, I translated requirements into detailed technical design and programming specifications. When complete, I liaised with business leaders to ensure maximum adoption.
AUTOMATION :
► Contributing to a 5-person Scrum team, I helped build the company’s first Robotic Process Automation.
► I led a $20K automation of meter and account changes by developing, testing, and integrating new design changes. This project cut manual meter installation from 55 minutes with 2 people to <10 minutes with 1 person. In 2018, there were 2,878 changes made with timing going from 20 minutes to 4.
PROCESS OPTIMIZATION :
► I consolidated 16 metering databases into 1 utilizing Access to build an IT Service Request tracking system. Receiving 100+ requests per month, it accelerated ITs ability to respond, slashing 650 manhours and boosting KPIs.
RECOGNITION :
► In 2018, I received a Peer Recognition Award for being “The Closer” and doing what it takes to get results.
► In relation to the Robotic Process Automation project, I was recognized for my role in compiling and analyzing meter-to-cash process inventory and standardizing automation packages.
► In 2017, I received a Peer Recognition Award for being an “Outstanding Innovator” delivering multiple automations.

Strategist, Meter to Cash
Following the merger of Northeast Utilities, I transitioned into this newly created role. I administered PowerTrack, the metering inventory and asset management database to manage 1.5M+ meters. I also acted as a technical expert, assisting with cross-functional process improvements and resolution of billing issues.
From a technology standpoint, I guided the design, delivery, enhancement, and support of meter-to-cash solutions. Serving as a Functional Project Manager, I was responsible for gathering business requirements and then leading all phases from design and development through testing and implementation. On a day-to-day basis, I provide technical support to the field. During power outages, I supervise the work of 20+ Electrical E-1 Contractors.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS :
I served as Functional Project Lead, IT Solutions Architect, Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Change Management Lead, Procedure Writer, and Tester.
► I gained Capital Project Committee buy-in on a $500K upgrade ProwerTrack to create a single source asset database. I built, tested, and integrated the technology, delivering improved security, data accuracy, validation, consistency, and SOX controls. It resulted in 33% less complex meter configurations, a 50K reduction in printing, and improved metrics. This was the first time I wrote a high-level design, functional, and technical software specification document.
► I pioneered the use of MV90XI as the communication engine for gas meters in the utility industry. Saving millions of dollars, I influenced a switch to Mercury Pulse Accumulators to compensate for numerous critical issues with our current vendor. I customized the MPA software to align with diaphragm, rotary and turbine meter needs. Sampling 10% of inventory, I executed quality testing. Ultimately, I rolled out the software to 6K+ locations and facilitated training to 26 union employees. Replacing failing Metscan devices, I reduced Yankee Gas not calling in rates from 12% to 3.5%.

I worked for Northeast Utilities, which merged into Eversource Energy. As Meter Specialist, I controlled the meter asset database, Formtrack, and all system interfaces. Also, I managed the installation and recording of all meters to include net, substation, totalized meters, and onsite hardware. To ensure billing accuracy, I conducted cross-functional testing.
With an eye for optimization, I identified opportunities for continuous improvement. I monitored operational trends and benchmarking. From a project standpoint, I assisted in deploying new department technologies. As the technical expert, I supported the business with training and troubleshooting.
