Experience: Information security professional currently looking to return to the full-time workforce in an information/cyber security role. The last few years, I served as primary caregiver to my mother who was diagnosed with a terminal illness. During this time, I also took courses in Cyber Security Analysis and completed my Security+ certification. Cybersecurity initiative with the Microsoft Cloud & Enterprise Security team working with the Cyber Defense Operations Center (CDOC) supporting a new Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementation project requiring Secure Administration Workstation (SAW) access. Provided support for a new surface area management (SAM) network isolation tool designed to bring granular access control list (ACL) management off routers and switches and down to the local Windows firewall to simplify the interpretation and implementation of complex network policy requirements adhering to Microsoft’s tiered network ACL baseline.

Cybersecurity initiative with the Microsoft Cloud & Enterprise Security team tasked with a mission critical Cyber Defense Preparedness project for network & identity isolation which successfully reduced the surface area attack vector of Microsoft’s Online Services (GNS/MCIO). Enforcement was accomplished by the remediation of all dual-homed servers (DHS) by migration into a new single-homed, IPsec based highly secure Domain acting as a routable bridge between Microsoft’s front end and back end networks.
