Senior Information Security Consultant - Third Party Security
Senior Information Security Consultant responsible for providing corporate information security policy and standard support, performing due diligence and analysis for variance requests and/or risk acceptances, and performing ongoing monitoring of security risk levels.
In addition, I work to identify and analyze security risks/vulnerabilities, communicating risks to appropriate internal stakeholders across the organization, to ensure appropriate decisioning around risk mitigation or acceptance while communicating at a level understood by partners with varying levels of technology background.
I am also responsible for responding to prospective and established client requests for information around Key’s security and information technology controls. I advise on Key’s ability to comply with terms proposed throughout the contract negotiation process, working to redline and rewrite based on Key’s standards. These efforts require ongoing partnership with members of Key's Privacy Team, Law Group, Human Resources Team, Compliance Teams and lines of business to ensure confidential information and Key’s capabilities are accurately, timely, and appropriately communicated externally.
During the first quarter of 2021, I completed Key's year-long Aspiring Leaders Program, a program I applied for and was selected to, for the purposes of enhancing my leadership and persuasion skills. Throughout the course of the program I was able to actively participate in information sharing sessions with Key's executive leadership team. These sessions targeted focus towards effective communication and mentoring, strategic thinking, efficient decision making, innovation, delegation, and community leadership. During this program I was also afforded valuable networking opportunities across our entire organization which continues although my time in the program has ended.
I have since joined the Aspiring Leaders Alumni Board with the hopes of initiating and chairing a Leaders Give Back committee.

Through effective collaboration I recommend efficient processes to business partners to better manage inherent risk. To build and maintain strong relationships, I work to apply strategic leadership techniques to facilitate successful interaction with senior level clients and peers in order to gather risk intelligence, and/or sell difficult issues, and influence change.
