Cybersecurity Software Engineer
Provide Cybersecurity support to multiple AFRL programs through the application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ground system and space vehicle packages to support the overall confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and information. Primary responsibilities include the development of Assessment & Authorization documentation, implementation of security controls, and as necessary conduct risk assessments for systems under contract. Required understanding and application of all DoD, AF, AFRL, AFSPC and direction, instruction, and policy in order to appropriately document compliance of space systems. As required, develop and provide briefings to various groups of individuals and government entities as necessary to support Cybersecurity for AFRL missions.
Provide guidance on secure design, cybersecurity requirements, and system assessments for R&D systems currently under development at AFRL within the Space Vehicle directorate. In addition, fully support in roles of system administration and security administration, as well as cloud development (AWS) at various classification levels.
