About
I am an IT professional focusing on security. I've planned, implemented, and operated a variety of solutions to meet organizational requirements, ranging from web application firewalls, to perimeter next-generation firewalls, to endpoint security stacks and everything in between.
I find my most valuable skill to be a proven ability to rapidly learn new concepts/tools, and to effectively apply that knowledge with business needs in mind.
I'm particularly interested in bridging the gap between security professionals and the business. I enjoy explaining security concepts to people who don't know the ins-and-outs of technical jargon, and making business-cases for the value that security solutions can provide.
