About
I am a professional in the field of Information Technology and Cybersecurity. I have been in IT since 2018 where I scored my first help desk job. I loved it! Help desk proved to be an amazing opportunity to get some hands-on experience while I finished college. In 2020, I graduated with my Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University.
Since graduation, I've held several different positions with differing responsibilities. Initially, I took a promotion at Seelye Auto Group from help desk to a CIS Administrator role. Basically, I was in charge of all endpoints that touched the network. I was soon offered a position at a software development company, SalesPage Technologies, where I worked in a DevOps role for about a year. It was fantastic experience and I learned a ton working with such a complex network. Once I hit that year mark, I received a call from a recruiter to come work for Wolverine Pipe Line as a Cybersecurity Specialist. I've known from day 1 that cybersecurity was where I wanted to end up, so it was an easy decision. I've recently hit my 1 year milestone at Wolverine, and I love working in the realm of cybersecurity.
I hold a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University. Additionally, I have the Certified in Cybersecurity certification offered through ISC2. I am continuing my education in my own time and am planning to gain more certifications in the future.
