An Army veteran who served as a Special Agent of the FBI for over twenty-one years with areas of specialization that included Cybersecurity, Cybercrime Investigations, Computer Forensics, Violent Crime and Narcotics, Complex Financial Crime Investigation, Executive Education, Compliance and Governance, and Risk Management.
With over 15 years of leadership experience, serving in key positions in both the public and private sectors. Gaining a broad-base of leadership and management experience which included serving as an Army Field Artillery officer, a department manager in an electronics manufacturing facility, and while in the FBI, a Cyber Squad Supervisor, an Assistant Unit Chief, an acting Assistant Special Agent in Charge, and the Director of a Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory (RCFL).
As the FBI National Academy’s Cybersecurity Leadership Instructor, educated senior law enforcement executives from around the world on how to strategically address the global cyber threat.
As a Regional Program Manager and Cyber Program Coordinator for the FBI, led multiple Cyber Crimes Task Forces, addressing criminal and national security cybercrime investigations, intelligence life-cycle, industry standard accreditation (ASCLAD), and the InfraGard public-private outreach program.
As the Director of the Northwest RCFL, led and managed a multi-agency group of computer forensic experts and regularly interacted with corporate and law enforcement executives. Also, obtained significant experience in project management, budget management, and overseeing multi-organizational assignments, and worked in collaborative environments with public and private entities in the area of cybersecurity.
Currently leading a large team of senior Cybersecurity professional while managing the Cybersecurity Risk program for a large international non-profit organization.
