• Utilize vSphere to perform a variety of tasks including placing hosts into maintenance mode, expanding SAN volumes and moving virtual machines to different hosts (VMotion)
• Perform backups and file restores utilizing Veeam and participate in tape rotation
• Employ Hyper-V to investigate store server issues such as slowness, error messages and system crashes
• Install Windows Server 2016 on new store servers and test to ensure system is working correctly
• Investigate Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) connection and battery issues
• Install network and fiber cabling between switches and hosts
• Perform maintenance checks on Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) to ensure guidelines are being followed
