About
I have spent 20+ years as a technical program manager and recently pivoted my career to cybersecurity operations. I’ve always had a keen interest in the world of digital security and when iVision acquired Carve Systems in 2021, I looked for opportunities to get involved and add value. I didn’t have a specific end-goal at the time; I was just following my curiosity. I wanted to help the company achieve its business objectives and learn something new. In my professional life prior to iVision, I led integration activities through 4 different acquisitions, so I know the growth-by-acquisition strategy well and saw an opportunity to leverage that expertise. When a new service delivery role in the Carve security practice was presented, I said yes. When I was asked to do things outside the scope of service delivery and take on stretch assignments such as managing the practice revenue recognition process and engagement staffing, I said yes. Within a few short months, I was leading operational policies and initiatives, developing strategies to achieve financial goals, and implementing process for sustainable, scalable growth. In short, I created my role of Operations Director in the Security practice through observation of what needed to be done and motivation beyond what was in my job description. I’m thankful for iVision’s supportive leadership that encouraged my growth and I'm energized every day working with the incredibly talented security consultants.
