Managed technical teams with a broad range of responsibilities including : design and development of Client Virtualization (CV) and Cloud Reference Architectures (RAs), expandable and partner self-service RA programs, software development, and document Quality Control (QC).
Key accomplishments include :
• Earned high performance ratings every year for exceeding expectations.
• Over the course of a year, led two teams through organizational transitions, adjusting deliverables and roadmaps to align with organizational direction.
• Collaborated with product manager and architect to expand Client Virtualization RA roadmap by ~60% through deliverable creativity and better utilization of team members based in India.
• Advanced mature software development program (sizers) to make value added enhancements and process improvements. For a key sizer, improved stakeholder engagement, directed the design of a new architecture, and led the adoption of Agile Scrum approach for a new project. Program serviced more than 10 sizers and reliably delivered releases on time (~6 releases/year). Sizers are important, heavily used, pre-sales enablement, software applications that analyze requirements input by the user and produces a recommended configuration.
• Managed the delivery of seven in-house developed Reference Architectures in a year. Collaborated in the development of project requirements and schedule.
• Established two programs to expand the breadth of RAs delivered. Led the development of processes, templates, and a list of target vendors. Programs delivered 11 RAs in a year.
• Led the evolution of the mature document QC process responsible for reviewing organization’s RAs (70+/year). Key advancements include : tracking of process timings, change in prioritization approach, author training, development of initial quality metrics, and development of forecasting model using Agile Scrum concepts.
