As the Lead Systems INFOSEC engineer for cryptography, I supported SPAWAR and was tasked to define plausible cryptographic products and solutions for the US Navy (USN). I provided the following IA services
• SPAWAR support to Extremely Low Frequency (ELF), Very Low Frequency (VLF) and Low Frequency (LF) communication systems cryptographic modernization efforts
• Project Leader for Army PM Mines, Countermine and Demolitions (PM MCD) and the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) on their Intelligent Mines programs.
• MITRE Technical Project Leader for general technical support and grew the program tasking form $1.34M in FY98 to $1.7M in FY99.

Information Assurance Engineer
As a junior systems security engineer supporting DoD and Canadian programs involving secure hand held tactical Radio technology. I provided :
• COMSEC circuit design, test, and integration,
• NSA Type I Certification testing,
• NSA security documentation generation,
• Security technical presentations
Responsible for key security features that culminated with winning a $4.5M sales contract with a Canadian defense contractor in support of the Canadian Army and a DoD contract with the Air Force estimated at $50M.

While serving as a Captain in the Army stationed at the National Security Agency (NSA), I transitioned into a Government PM position for two portable secure hand-held radio developments intended for federal agency use. I successfully guided one to completion within cost and schedule. This success led to a follow-on procurement of the second portable secure hand-held radio that continued after my tenure. These radios employed cutting-edge highly specialized COMSEC and TRANSEC technology.
