Created T-Mobile’s next generation global extranet strategy that introduced both geographic redundancy and load balancing for critical voice and data applications for business-to-business/customer, centralized firewall enforcement points, and intelligent DNS. As a leader, I developed a nationwide microwave Ethernet strategy that will extend T-Mobile’s 4G/LTE geographic reach. To solve critical business process deficiencies, I developed a Java application that generates microwave radio configurations per FCC rules. Lead the technical strategies of T-Mobile’s HotSpot service, initiated and chaired an international coalition of T-Mobile engineers in various standards body efforts engaged with broadband IP technologies, critical in the securing of key partnerships by leading sales/system engineer team, and submitted several patent applications internally to T-Mobile’s corporate & 3rd party patent attorneys.
Have led teams of up to 35 technical engineers that were responsible for wireless & wired broadband data network design, VoIP & UMA (GSM over IP) architecture and implementations, network deployments, application development, data center design, network security, data center & network operations, corporate applications, corporate/customer support & corporate acquisitions.
