Trevor Lawrence is a CISSP-certified Security Engineering leader with over 10 years of security experience. He is currently a Senior Corporate Security Engineer at Sovrn, contributing to the development of a Security program from the ground up. Previously, Trevor was the Manager of Security Engineering at UncommonX. As manager, he was accountable for a distributed team of engineers responsible for incident response/escalation, vulnerability management, detection development, as well as the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security controls, including SIEM, EDR, CASB, and other cloud-based solutions. Prior to this role, he was a Cybersecurity Engineer at Alteryx in Broomfield, Colorado. In this role, he was responsible for maintaining and improving the visibility and efficiency of Azure Sentinel through the collection of new data sources, automation, building detections, as well as continuously improving the company’s overall security posture. Trevor has over 12 years of experience in Information Technology, and has held multiple roles in the past that required leadership qualities, including previously supervising the Cybersecurity Operations Center at a major airport.
