My name is Walner Homere and I currently work the United States Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) as an IT Forensics Specialist/Lab Manager/Network Engineer/Information Security Officer. Prior to my current position, I worked for the SEC’s Office of Information Technology (OIT), where I designed deployments of large-scale hardware and software applications. I also served as a subject matter expert on various IT related projects. I have over 18 years of experience in network engineering, information security, project management, business continuity design management, and system monitoring. I worked as a Systems Engineer and Systems Analyst for companies such as Ernst & Young LLP, Deloitte & Touche and Dell. I hold a Master of Science in Information Assurance Engineering and various master level and industry certificates.
