* represented a family sued by their former landlord for defamation after blogging about the conditions of the rental;

* represented an abused mother in a trial to regain custody of her child from the abuser; and
* defended a worker, who intervened to protect a female co-worker from an assault, against a civil case brought by the assailant.

A computer scientist as well as an attorney, Warren has experience litigating civil and criminal technology-related disputes in a broad range of cases, including patent infringement, copyright infringement, antitrust, contract, securities class actions, investigations, tort, fraud, and declaratory judgments. He has also advised clients concerning privacy and data security, technology-related mergers and acquisitions, and other intellectual property issues. Finally, he has overseen (as well as personally conducted) forensic investigations and incident responses.
Prior to joining IBM, Warren was both CISO and Of Counsel at Gallo LLP. Prior to that, Warren was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York, and before that, he was a System Security Administrator at the Georgia Tech Research Institute.
