Job Title: Cyber Defense Analyst
Location: Greensboro, NC
Duration: Long Term
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and investigate detections for suspicious events in the CSOC alert queue.
- Perform log reviews, vulnerability assessments, and incident response activities.
- Develop, tune, and automate analysis tools for network, host, and log-based security event analysis.
- Create and maintain detection content, rulesets, and indicators of compromise (IOC).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and enhance detection capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong skills in intrusion detection, log analysis, signature/content development, and scripting.
- Ability to analyze alerts, network traffic, and other data sources to identify and mitigate threats.
- A collaborative team player with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
