Approach Technology is an IT service provider focused on custom cloud solutions utilizing AWS, Citrix, and Microsoft. We are seeking a versatile and service-oriented Systems Administrator to maintain our IT infrastructure and provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving day-to-day user issues while also managing and improving backend systems.
This position is full-time remote with occasional travel to client sites in the Seattle area.
Responsibilities
• Provide telephone and remote support for all client applications on Windows, Windows Server, and macOS.
• Configure and manage client networks.
• Configure and manage AWS EC2 instances, storage, networking, and other resources.
• Configure and manage hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Occasional travel (Seattle area) to provide on-site support as needed.
• Participates in 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to formal education.
• Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience configuring and managing Amazon Web Services EC2.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Office, Exchange, Entra, Intune, Purview).
• Networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, and VLANs).
• Citrix DaaS experience is a plus.
