Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team and support enterprise infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux administration, scripting, and infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deliver Oracle Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu systems
- Support server, storage, and database migration activities
- Perform root cause analysis for major incidents and implement permanent resolutions
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Perl, and Python (7+ years of Python required)
- Execute continuous security OS patching and validation to ensure compliance
- Ensure all solutions align with IT standards, security guidelines, and best practices
- Document and communicate changes to standard build procedures
- Deploy and maintain back-tier infrastructure, ensuring adherence to engineering standards
Required Skills And Experience
- 7+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar infrastructure role
- Strong expertise in Linux administration (Oracle Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu)
- Hands-on scripting experience with Python (7+ years required), Shell, and Perl
- Solid understanding of server, storage, and database migration processes
- Experience with security patching, validation, and compliance
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
