Job Description:
MKS2 Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new software products and implementing major enhancements to existing systems. This role requires a strong understanding of systems integration, cross-platform compatibility, and project lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new software applications and features.
- Enhance and maintain existing software systems.
- Address challenges related to systems integration and multi-platform compatibility.
- Ensure timely and successful completion of assigned projects.
- Conduct feasibility analyses for potential future projects and provide recommendations to management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant software development experience.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- Possession of an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
- DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I (e.g., A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP).

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working in a DoD or government contracting environment.
