About the RoleNovaLink is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Administrator / Systems Administrator to join our onsite team in Las Vegas, NV. This hands-on role will support the full scope of IT operations, from hardware deployment to system administration and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate brings both technical expertise and strong communication skills to effectively support internal staff and agency stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities🔧 Hardware & Software Management
- Order, configure, and deploy computers, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot staff software, especially Tybera e-suite.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses.
🖥️ System Administration
- Administer the Case Management System (CMS), train users, and ensure accurate data input.
- Troubleshoot system issues; coordinate with the CMS vendor for escalated support.
🔐 State IT Coordination
- Work directly with the Nevada Governor’s Technology Office (GTO) on hosting, access control, performance, and system updates.
- Ensure IT compliance with state-mandated standards and cybersecurity protocols.
📹 AV & Communication Systems
- Set up and manage video systems for hybrid meetings and internal communication.
- Support video conferencing hardware and software (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
📊 Data & Reporting
- Prepare statistical reports for audits, compliance, and internal tracking.
- Ensure data accuracy and support extraction and formatting processes.
🛒 Procurement & Office Support
- Conduct vendor research, quote comparison, and purchasing for IT needs.
- Manage office supply inventory and equipment servicing.
🧪 Exam Platform Support
- Administer and support the agency’s online certification testing system.
🆘 IT Support & Documentation
- Provide first-line support for all staff IT issues.
- Document procedures, system setups, and transition plans for continuity.
Qualifications🎓 Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred — or equivalent hands-on experience.
🛠️ Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and CMS/database systems.
- Comfortable with video conferencing and AV systems.
- Strong data reporting and analysis skills.
- Familiarity with multi-agency or enterprise-level IT environments is a plus.
