Whuups Inc is hiring professionals with deep, hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure, backend systems, and data architecture, including secure email/messaging campaigns and data protection.
Open Role: Senior Backend / DevOps / Data Engineer
We're looking for candidates who can lead or contribute significantly to:
✅ Core Infrastructure
- Full AWS server setup: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM
- Backend stack deployment (Node.js, container-based, scalable)
- CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.)
- Production-grade monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK)
✅ Messaging & Campaign Systems
- Creation and implementation of AWS SES or similar email services
- Integration of messaging campaigns with secure tracking and analytics
- API-level communication between marketing, user profile, and messaging systems
- SMTP configuration, IP warm-up, bounce management, and deliverability control
✅ Data Architecture & Protection
- Data lifecycle management (ingest, store, process, archive)
- Secure user data handling aligned with GDPR, SOC2, or ISO standards
- End-to-end encryption practices (server- and client-side)
- Role-based access controls and audit-ready logging
- Experience with data warehousing (Redshift, Snowflake) is a plus
Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on experience in backend/AWS/cloud/data infrastructure
- Proven ability to set up, launch, and maintain production-level systems
- Strong scripting in Bash, Python or similar for automation and infra control
- Ownership mindset and readiness to start by August 8, 2025
