The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the companies computer systems and networks. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new technologies to enhance system performance and security.
Position Responsibilities:
· Sets up and configure software, hardware, and networks.
· Performs routine maintenance.
· Manages the configuration of operating systems.
· Regularly checks system performance and troubleshoot issues.
· Implements and manages security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.
· Upgrades systems with new releases and models.
· Ensures integrity of data storage and backup systems.
· Tests and reviews software.
· Responds immediately to security or usability concerns.
· Communicates effectively with stakeholders during major incidents, providing timely updates.
· Assists in root cause analysis and ensure incidents are documented and reviewed for continuous improvement.
· Manages backup systems, ensuring data integrity, and recoverability.
· Performs maintenance on all aspects of the information system and technology environment in accordance with best practice policies and procedures.
· Configures and deploys local networks at satellite locations.
· Works with vendors to build and configure new technology solutions as needed.
· Maintains technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
· Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:

- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.

Qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) are a plus.
