Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration, monitoring, and support of enterprise infrastructure systems across data center, cloud, and end-user environments.
- Support IT initiatives such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts.
- Provide tier-2/3 escalation support for help desk and operations teams.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on projects to improve performance, reliability, and security of IT services.
- Participate in routine maintenance, patching, backups, and disaster recovery testing.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to evaluate and implement new technologies, including voice and collaboration systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring, automation, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in systems administration, IT support, or related roles.
- Strong PowerShell scripting ability.
- Working knowledge of server, storage, networking, and virtualization concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, modern collaboration tools, and enterprise backup solutions.
- Experience supporting end-user computing environments and virtual desktop infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- A growth mindset with interest in learning new technologies and platforms.
- Strong PowerShell scripting ability.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to enterprise voice or phone system migrations.
- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts.
- Basic scripting or automation experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, networking, virtualization, or security) are a plus.
