We are looking for a skilled Sr IT Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will manage and optimize IT systems, ensuring their security, reliability, and performance. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments while providing top-tier support.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and monitor daily IT operations, including networks, servers, storage, and applications.
• Ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure to maintain optimal performance.
• Provide technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures, responding to security alerts and incidents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment, software, and licenses.
• Coordinate the installation, configuration, and upgrades of PC hardware and software.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup and deactivation.
• Write and update training materials and IT documentation to support end users.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage IT products, services, and contracts effectively.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows Server, and Windows 10.
• Familiarity with Dell and Citrix technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud services such as Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, compliance frameworks, and data protection regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations or systems administration.
