Overview:
We’re seeking a collaborative and growth-minded professional to join our team! This role blends hands-on technical work with mentorship and teamwork, supporting helpdesk, company software, and systems/network infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Administer OS and software patching, including testing and upkeep, to strengthen system security.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives by assisting with penetration test remediation and vulnerability scanning.
- Design and organize enterprise collaboration platforms to enhance team productivity.
- Assist with data loss prevention (DLP) tools and endpoint protection technologies.
- Configure and maintain remote monitoring and mobile device management (RMM/MDM) solutions.
- Coordinate with IT Support Technicians and HR to facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding.
- Troubleshoot SaaS licensing issues and apply security hardening measures.
- Deploy and configure device images, profiles, and system automations for team workflows.
- Collaborate with Security and Risk Management teams on evaluating requests for new tools.
- Maintain IT knowledge bases, asset inventories, and documentation repositories.
- Facilitate device lifecycle processes, including warranty tracking and replacement cycles.
- Investigate and resolve email security gateway alerts and message delivery failures.
- Assist Network Security teams with firewall rules, IDS/IPS alerts, and network log interpretation.
- Provision and support network hardware for office and warehouse environments.
- Contribute to Tier 1 support when IT Support Technicians require additional capacity.
- Develop and deliver end-user training materials for IT-supported technologies.
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotations to ensure service continuity.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in IT, or related role in support or administration.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level certification.
- Familiarity with scripting, cloud infrastructures, and endpoint management tools.
- Working knowledge of network configuration & rules (VLANs, firewalls, routing).
- Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high security and compliance standards.
Preferred Experience:
- Relevant Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, ITIL, CySA+, or CCNA.
- Experience with business intelligence/dashboards, integrations, and log interpretation.
- Familiarity with automation tools and cloud infrastructure scripting.
- Experience with label printers and shipping software.
