About Us
We are building a next-generation platform involving social commerce and seamless global payments (stablecoin + fiat). Think Patreon × eBay × Twitch—purpose-driven by design. Our mission is to combine social engagement and live commerce that funds real impact.
The Role
As Founding CTO, you’ll be the technical architect and hands-on builder of our MVP. You’ll partner directly with the founder to design, implement, and scale the core platform. This is an opportunity to define the technical DNA of the company from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Architect the platform: Design the target architecture to support scalable social engagement platform, subscription management, and cross-border payments.
- Build the MVP: Roll up your sleeves to write code, integrate third-party services (e.g., LiveKit, Mux, Firebase, Stripe/USDC rails), and ship an end-to-end functional product.
- Lay the scaffolding: Establish code standards, DevOps pipelines, security practices, and scalable infrastructure.
- AI/Trust stack: Prototype fraud/shill-bid detection, dynamic pricing, ranking, and live safety systems.
- Recruit & lead: Hire and mentor the initial engineering team as we grow.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product, design, and ops to iterate fast, test with users, and deliver measurable value.
What We’re Looking For
- 6–10+ years of engineering experience, with proven ability to ship products from scratch.
- Strong background in full-stack development (React Native/React, Node.js/TypeScript, Firebase or equivalent).
- Experience with video streaming (WebRTC, LiveKit, Mux, Agora, or similar).
- Familiarity with payments infrastructure (Stripe, Adyen, stablecoins/crypto rails).
- Cloud infra experience (AWS/GCP/Azure); able to design scalable and secure systems.
- Hands-on builder who thrives in zero-to-one environments.
- Bonus: experience in marketplaces, creator economy, or fintech/payments compliance.
Compensation
- Competitive founder-level equity
- Path to CTO leadership and paid compensation with team-building budget post-seed.
The ideal candidate should have an innate drive to leverage technology for the greater good, with a philosophy rooted in empowering others—think philanthropy as fostering lasting impact rather than short-term fixes.
