About the Role
Position: IT Systems Administrator
Location: Onsite in Coral Springs, Florida – NO REMOTE POSITIONS!
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in managing IT infrastructure, ensuring security, and supporting end users in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and cybersecurity practices, along with a proven ability to maintain and enhance systems performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, including user management, permissions, and integrations.
- Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring uptime, reliability, and optimal performance of servers, networks, and endpoints.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices to safeguard company data and systems.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity solutions.
- Provide end-user support for software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, upgrades, and system improvements.
- Document IT processes, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams for IT-related projects.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure administration and Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, multi-factor authentication, endpoint security).
- Experience with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
- Hands-on experience with system monitoring and backup tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation.
Job Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $50,000-80,000 Salary (Depending on Experience)
