This role is pivotal within the Environment Management Group, focusing on the identification, analysis, and support of solutions across operating systems, middleware, applications, and databases for pre-production servers. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Windows Systems Administrator:
Collaborate with our client's team to architect and engineer solutions for pre-production environments. Utilize strong coding skills to automate processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Manage and support Windows Server platforms, including versions from 2003 to 2022. Engage in the configuration and management of IIS, Active Directory, DNS, and other network services. Work remotely, preferably from Nashville, TN, or within the Central Time Zone, on a 6-month contract with potential for extension.
Required Skills for Windows Systems Administrator:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in Windows Server platforms and SQL Clustering. Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell and familiarity with Bitbucket, Artifactory, and GitLab. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a minimum of 5 years in customer service and IT. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
