Our client is a growing, multi-state cannabis operator with a mission to deliver exceptional products and experiences to our customers. As they expand their footprint and scale operations across two states, they are seeking an experienced, visionary President to lead the company into its next phase of growth.

Masters Degree in Business or MBA strongly preferred. No relocation is available for this position so candidates residing in Florida or Ohio will receive consideration.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The President will serve as the most senior executive leader in the organization, responsible for overall strategy, operations, and performance across all business units. This individual will work closely with the Board of Directors to set the strategic direction of the company, drive operational excellence, and ensure we meet or exceed our financial and growth objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s long-term vision, growth strategy, and annual operating plans.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations across two states, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
- Financial Performance: Deliver on revenue, margin, and EBITDA targets while managing budgets and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing executive team; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the face of the company with investors, partners, regulators, and key stakeholders.
- Scaling the Business: Lead expansion efforts, including new market entry, product development, and operational scalability.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations while maintaining strong governance practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 10+ years of executive leadership experience within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or consumer products industries.
- Minimum 3 years as President or equivalent top executive role in a mid to large size organization.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA strongly preferred). Bachelor’s degree considered if earned from a top-tier university.
- History of scaling organizations and consistently meeting or exceeding financial and operational targets.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Demonstrated track record of long-term tenure (no frequent job transitions).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Cannabis industry knowledge or experience (not required, but a plus).
- Experience managing multi-state operations or companies with complex regulatory environments.
- Track record of leading cultural transformation or post-merger integration.
