Contract to permanent hire
- Location: 1-2 days hybrid on-site in Woonsocket, RI or Hartford, CT
- 6-months before conversion to a permanent employee
- Salary Conversion Expectations: ~$75,000 - $90,000/yr. Equivalent hourly rate + benefits prior to conversion.
- Candidates need to work as W2 employees with us
Skill-Set:
- Years of Experience: 2 to 8 years of experience within Windows/Infrastructure Engineering
- Standing up servers, network connections, security remediation, OS systems (Server systems)
- OS: Windows, a little bit of Linux
- Size of Environment: Mid-range volume support - about 10 applications and 25-40 servers across different environments
- Server: Windows (Big on servers), mostly on-prem, but moving towards cloud (nice to have)
- Will work on Workstations / Kiosks
- Personality: Someone who's motivated to keep learning
Role:
- Standing up servers, network connections, connectivity issues, helping to do app upgrades, security remediations etc.
- Need to know how to manage applications – don’t need to be a coder or developer but will be facilitating work
- Windows / SQL-Lite
- Firewall protection
- Server Administration
- Coordinate connections from user to server
- Print shop support - adding new print servers - new kiosks
- Drops, network connections, security hardening
- Setup firewall clouds
- Familiarity with packaging software
