Our client, a leading provider of refining and distribution of petroleum, is seeking an IT Server Administrator to join its team in Wood Cross, UT!
This is a 6-year contract position with paid holidays!
In this role, you will provide advanced support and administration for servers and networks, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization. The role includes maintaining system security and managing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and optimize Windows and Linux servers to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance operations.
- Perform routine server maintenance, including monitoring, patching, space management, and implementing security updates, while documenting all configurations and procedures.
- Provide advanced technical support for server-related issues, resolve complex problems, and lead server upgrade and migration projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Windows/Linux server administration experience.
- Advanced troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
