Our client in Houston is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support and enhance Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) applications such as Cority, Greenstone, 3E, and Sphera ARA. This on-site, direct-hire position focuses on ensuring optimal system performance, executing upgrades, and managing configurations and integrations across EHS platforms. This on site in Houston, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical owner and administrator for EHS systems, providing functional and technical support.
- Configure, implement, upgrade, and manage Cority and other EHS applications.
- Manage user access, permissions, and location scope; oversee addition of new modules.
- Coordinate and resolve IT incidents, monitor system performance, and maintain system environments in sync.
- Integrate and manage data feeds between systems such as Workday and Active Directory.
- Develop and execute change control, testing, and SDLC processes.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation.
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to identify and deliver system enhancements.
- Lead monthly user meetings and assist with project management and road-mapping for ongoing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or 7+ years of equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Cority Administrator, including configuration and business rule development.
- 3+ years working with compliance or work management systems (system administration, management, or development).
- Experience with SQL, PowerShell, APIs, Snowflake, and Power BI report development.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- EHS or chemical industry background preferred.
