About the Role:
Our Client is hiring a Global IT Senior Internal Auditor I to lead and execute IT audit engagements across global operations. This role requires a confident communicator who can quickly understand business processes, identify risks, and propose practical solutions. You’ll lead audits, review workpapers, draft reports, and mentor junior team members. The position offers a mix of independent work and team collaboration, with up to 20% travel expected.
Responsibilities:
- Lead SOX 404, SOC 1/SOC 2, and operational audits
- Conduct walkthroughs, testing, and issue identification
- Review and finalize audit documentation
- Communicate findings and action plans to senior IT management
- Draft audit issues and reports
- Mentor junior auditors and support knowledge sharing
- Track remediation efforts and follow up on issue closure
- Own ad-hoc reviews and special projects
MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field
- Professional certification (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIPT) with 2–3 years post-qualification experience
- 4–6 years of experience in IT audit, risk, or compliance
- Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley and ITGCs
- Proven ability to lead audits from planning to reporting
- Strong attention to detail and audit documentation standards
- Effective communication skills, especially around technical risks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Plusses:
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), Linux, or HR platforms
- Familiarity with COBIT, NIST, or ISO 27001 frameworks
- Spanish language proficiency
- Interest in entertainment or live events
- Experience contributing to audit planning and reporting
Compensation:
Up to $110k
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
