Infrastructure Team Lead
LOCATION: Spring, Texas
WORK SCHEDULE: Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract to Perm
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Experience:
· Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
Technical Expertise (in priority):
· Linux (OEL/RHEL) systems administration.
· VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and virtual infrastructure management.
· NetApp storage systems (SAN/NAS, replication, and snapshots).
· Windows Server (2016–2022) and Active Directory architecture and management.
· Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (preferred but not required).
· Strong knowledge of network fundamentals a plus (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and firewalls).
· Familiarity with Azure or other cloud environments is a plus.
Compliance Knowledge:
· Demonstrated exposure to NIST 800-171, STIG, and CMMC compliance requirements in mixed commercial/government IT environments.
Certifications (Preferred):
· Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator / Architect
· VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
· NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE)
· CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
