Title: Windows System Administrator
Must live local. No relocation unless American
- The Systems Administrator will design, deploy, manage and troubleshoot core windows services such as: AD Sites and Services, DNS, Group Policy Objects, DHCP, User and Computers, AD Permission delegation using the least privilege methodology, AD Groups (both Dynamic and Static), AD Replication, and other Domain services.
- Must be able to troubleshoot basic TCP/IP communication issues using common tools (ping, trace, etc.).
- The System Administrator will implement, troubleshoot and remediate 3rd Party Multi-tiered applications deployed to Windows systems utilizing windows system logs, logs generated by the application, and utilizing various tools such as WireShark, etc.
- May also serve in a lead role for projects assigned. This position is for the Windows Server Group.
- The successful candidate will be assigned tasks and projects within the Windows Server Group.
- The successful candidate will also be able to ensure that industry best practices are followed for server implementation.
Required Work Experience:
- Working experience with Windows Server 2012 and later.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects that are assigned.
- Administrator Experience in work environment with SSO implementation/infrastructure
- Administrator Experience in work environment with Ansible, Foreman, and/or other automation tools.
- Administrator Experience in work environment with Microsoft System Center suite of products.
- Administrator Experience in work environment with Microsoft Intune.
- Administrator Experience in work environment designing, deploying, and supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure (VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure).
- Experience writing and modifying PowerShell scripts
this role is currently working offsite 80% the time. 1day a week onsite. But must be available for on call to come in when needed if asked. For special meetings.
