Responsibilities
As a Systems Administrator II, you will play a vital role in supporting and advancing our technology infrastructure — with a primary focus on Microsoft 365 collaboration services, automation, AI-powered productivity, and data architecture. You will be responsible for administering and optimizing our Microsoft ecosystem, leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and Power Apps to streamline business processes, enhance collaboration, and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern Microsoft technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.
Essential Functions And Work Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to manage core infrastructure components including servers, switches, firewalls, and Windows Server environments.
- Administer and enhance the Microsoft 365 suite — with a specific emphasis on SharePoint, Teams (including Voice), OneDrive, and AI-driven Microsoft Copilot tools.
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate to automate workflows and improve end-user experiences.
- Integrate Copilot and automation solutions with SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook to support intelligent data retrieval and decision-making.
- Manage Azure AD, SAML integrations, and optimize utilization of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID capabilities.
- Architect and maintain secure, scalable data structures to ensure efficient access, storage, and governance.
- Support security operations through proactive file and permissions management, ensuring alignment with compliance and data protection standards.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and apply preventive measures to minimize downtime.
- Implement and maintain security best practices to safeguard organizational systems and data.
- Create and maintain thorough technical documentation, including configuration guides, workflows, and process maps.
- Stay informed on emerging Microsoft technologies — particularly Copilot, AI integrations, and Power Platform innovations — to continuously improve infrastructure and automation strategies.

Qualifications

Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in systems administration, focusing on Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and collaboration technologies.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of M365 collaboration services including SharePoint, Teams (with Voice), and OneDrive.
- Practical experience building Power Apps, designing automated workflows with Power Automate, and implementing Microsoft Copilot for productivity and analytics.
- Understanding of data architecture principles and system integration best practices.
- Working knowledge of firewalls, servers, Windows Server, and cloud-based storage solutions.
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft security principles, permissions management, and compliance practices.
- Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and service management frameworks.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Certifications in Microsoft 365 Administration, Power Platform, or Azure Fundamentals.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with third-party APIs and data sources.
- Exposure to automation governance, AI prompt design, or Copilot customization within M365.
