We are seeking a Senior Network & Systems Administrator to manage the agency’s technology infrastructure and daily IT operations. This hands-on role covers desktop and server support, network management, virtualization, and cybersecurity, providing essential support to creative and client teams.
Position Summary
The Senior Network & Systems Administrator oversees the planning, deployment, maintenance, and performance of the organization’s network and computing systems. This individual ensures system reliability, security, and scalability across servers, endpoints, and network components.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for end users across Windows and macOS environments, including software and hardware troubleshooting.
- Maintain virtualization platforms (VMware) and backup/disaster recovery processes.
- Monitor network and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security protocols.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and endpoint/device management using MDM/RMM tools.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, and network hardware including switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal IT operations.
- Monitor IT systems and intrusion/malware detection applications to ensure safeguarding of network and compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience supporting IT systems, networks, and users.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and virtualization platforms.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or higher.
- CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, Security+) or equivalent.
- ITIL Foundation Certification or similar.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
