JOB GOAL
Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of computer systems.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the computer field
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
- Microsoft Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred)
- Working knowledge and demonstrated experience in a corporate or education environment administering and supporting Virtualization technologies for endpoints and servers (VMware-ESX, vSphere, view, Horizon 6-7, ThinApp) along with administration and support of Windows 7 or higher and Windows Server 2012 or higher, Active Directory, PowerShell, TCP/IP, Azure AD, Intune (preferred)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understands and supports the mission, vision, and values of Harmony Public Schools.
- Supports and administers Azure Active Directory users and devices.
- Uses Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune for application deployment.
- Creates application packages and advanced scripts for deployment to Microsoft, Apple and Google devices.
- Manages deployment and policies for Windows, macOS, IOS devices using Apple School manager and/or Intune.
- Manages deployment and policies Chromebook devices using Google Admin Console.
- Manages GoGuardian for device control, trains campus staff.
- Plans, designs, implements, and supports solutions for Office 365 user licensing assignment solution using AD and Azure security groups. Workload includes, but not limited to, SharePoint, Teams and Intune.
- Works closely with other IT teams (such as Architecture, Development, Infrastructure, and Support) to plan and execute future cloud infrastructure projects.
- Creates and maintains automation and orchestration to support cloud environment(s).
- Manages mobile and managed applications, can read device information and can view device configuration profiles.
- Manages security and compliance features, such as security baselines, device compliance, conditional access, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Performs remote tasks on users and devices and can assign applications or policies to users or devices.
- Manages custom Intune roles and adds assignments for built-in Intune roles. Assigns permissions to Administrators.
- Manages compliance policy, configuration profiles, Apple enrollment, corporate device identifiers, and security baselines.
- Manages Conditional Access Policies management in Intune.
- Plans, coordinates, and implements network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Maintains logs related to system functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.
- Establishes and documents standards and procedures, maintains inventory of technological devices, and maintains backup systems.
- Interacts with vendors and company personnel in order to facilitate purchases.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the district.
- Ability to use computer including software, database used by the district, spreadsheet and word processing software, calculator, copy machine and telephone.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Ability to use effective interview techniques, effective public speaking skills, and problem-solving skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Light Work: may require occasional light lifting.
- Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required.
- Position is in office setting and may involve prolonged work at a desk in one location.
- Moderate travel is required.
