We are looking for a Contract Network Administrator in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to manage and optimize network infrastructure supporting business-critical systems. This position requires expertise in network design, security, and maintenance for both on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Implement network security protocols, firewalls, and threat monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
- Maintain network documentation, topology maps, and change logs.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on infrastructure upgrades.
- Perform regular backups, updates, and patch management.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency with Cisco, Fortinet, or similar network equipment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) preferred.
