Job summary:
Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst / Programmer to provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise in the design, implementation, and support of complex computer systems that power financial, clinical, and administrative operations.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and a solutions-driven mindset to ensure the smooth execution of large-scale system initiatives. This role involves managing multiple priorities, collaborating across departments, and ensuring all technology solutions align with organizational policies, standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex IT projects, providing strategic and technical guidance across all phases of system development and operations.
- Analyze, design, and implement business applications to enhance efficiency and data integrity across departments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify needs, troubleshoot issues, and deliver innovative technology solutions.
- Ensure all systems and applications meet compliance standards and organizational best practices.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with technical teams and business users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline (equivalent experience may be considered).
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in system analysis and programming.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and database management systems used within enterprise environments.
- Experience working with major business and clinical applications such as ERP, EHR, or other enterprise platforms.
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Programming Languages: SQL, ASP, Visual Basic, C++, Web Development tools, or equivalent.
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase.
- Operating Systems: Windows Server, UNIX, or similar environments.
- Applications/Tools: Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
