About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps principles, cloud-native architecture, and modern software delivery practices. This role requires close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and security teams to drive scalable, reliable, and secure deployments across environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement DevOps architecture, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring solutions.
- Lead the migration and optimization of applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Define and enforce infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and automated deployments across environments.
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
- Drive security and compliance automation, including secrets management and vulnerability scanning.
- Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, promoting best practices in automation and reliability engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 4+ years in a DevOps Architect or Senior DevOps Engineer role.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP a plus).
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Solid scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with microservices, container orchestration, and cloud-native architectures.
- Understanding of networking, security, and observability frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
- Exposure to GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and policy enforcement tools (OPA, Kyverno).
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or Azure DevOps Expert are a plus.
