Mission:
Lead product, engineering, and platform strategy for ThreatVisor (generator gBETA/ RoundRock Chamber of Commerce Backed Startup)—a next-generation, multi-tenant cybersecurity posture management SaaS, powered by advanced AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and scale an Azure-based, secure multi-tenant microservices platform.
- Build and orchestrate engineering teams across backend, frontend, DevSecOps, and AI/ML for rapid delivery, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive integrations with leading security scanners, SIEMs, cloud providers, and enterprise workflows to enable seamless extensibility.
- Lead AI strategy—operationalize Claude Opus models for vulnerability analysis, threat correlation, compliance, explainability, and reporting.
- Champion compliance & security—implement RBAC, SSO/SAML, MFA, evidence logging, privacy by default, and continuous enterprise audit.
- Optimize product-market fit—engage enterprise buyers (CISO, SOC, compliance, insurance), translate feedback into technical priorities and roadmap.
- Establish DevOps and reliability—CI/CD, hardening, monitoring, and incident response; drive cost, scale, and performance for high-growth SaaS.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders—present technical strategy to board and investors, justify decisions and align with business goals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years leading SaaS engineering teams (multi-tenant, compliance, security preferred).
- Deep experience with Azure cloud, microservices, API design, identity management, and enterprise integrations.
- Proven delivery of AI/ML features in production, with expertise in compliance and operationalizing privacy/security features.
- Mastery of software security, SDLC, DevOps, and compliance automation frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Startup experience preferred; ability to move fast and scale in sync with go-to-market and sales.
Bonus Skills:
- Enterprise buyer negotiation experience (CISO, SOC, legal/compliance).
- Prior CTO or technical co-founder experience in high-growth SaaS.
- Familiarity with regulatory/insurance requirements for posture management tools.
Compensation:
- Founder-level equity stake in ThreatVisor
- Percentage of monthly recurring revenue (MRR), beginning Q1 2026 after initial product sign-on
