Key Responsibilities
DoD Exposure is required
- Configure, support, and monitor LAN, WLAN, WAN, and VoIP infrastructure across local and global operations.
- Perform network maintenance, installation, and user training to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Support the expansion of private and public cloud services, including Azure Government (Azure-Gov) and AWS Government (AWS-G).
- Contribute to the deployment of DoD-compliant cloud environments (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS) with a focus on scalability and security.
- Act as a subject matter expert in cloud network administration, staying current with emerging technologies and trends.
- Design and document network, storage, and compute architectures, ensuring NIST 800.171 and CMMC compliance.
- Manage and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and SD-WAN appliances.
- Administer and enhance network monitoring systems such as Syslog servers, DNS security, and CASB platforms.
- Plan and implement software/hardware updates and system enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams on hybrid and multi-tenant infrastructure initiatives.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity planning and testing.
- Exercise independent judgment in planning, scheduling, and executing IT network projects.
- Provide cross-training and technical guidance to team members while ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Maintain strict data protection and information handling standards in accordance with company and government requirements.
