Position Value Proposition
The Applications Administrator will be responsible for the
administration, support, and integration of various applications within the organization, with a primary focus on UKG systems. This role involves troubleshooting, patching, and ensuring compliance across multiple platforms.
Core Responsibilities - UKG:
- System administration (troubleshooting and patching)
- Batches, Shifts, and Activities support and administration
- Kronos hardware support
- SQL Support for business rules
- Time and attendance entries support
- ServiceNow (Some experience is desirable):
- System administration (troubleshooting and patching)
- Integrations support and implementation
- Workflows support and implementation
- CMDB administration
- UX
- SharePoint (Some experience is desirable):
- Sites administration
- Sites content update
- User access administration
- Security & Compliance
- Other Small Applications (Some experience is desirable):
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation and integration of various applications, with a focus on UKG systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues, especially those related to UKG.
- Maintain and update system documentation and procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to implement new applications and updates.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Provide training and support to end-users, particularly for UKG systems.
Core Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application administration and support, with a strong emphasis on UKG systems.
- Strong knowledge of system integration and troubleshooting (Mainly UKG).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Boomi, ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
Work Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in related positions, with a focus on UKG systems.
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required (Proven experience can substitute for degree requirement).
Software & Technology
- Experience with Boomi integrations
- Knowledge of SQL and business rules support
- Familiarity with compliance requirements
Work Environment
- This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to perform maintenance or upgrades.
- This role may involve working with remote teams and users.
