Job Description
The System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the mainframe (AS/400) environment to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance for business operations. Core responsibilities include: system maintenance and monitoring, user management, backup and recovery, security management and compliance (SOX), system configuration and applicable process documentation.

Proven experience developing, configuring, testing and deploying custom software in enterprise AS/400 environments
Strong knowledge of AS/400 system administration and system maintenance
Experienced in security management and SOX compliance
Familiarity with backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning
Ability to manage user accounts and permissions
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting custom supply chain or distribution center applications, Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred
